Tasting Notes: Hawthorn Brewing Co - Amber Ale

Well, a couple of beers in and thought I'd have a crack at the Hawthorn Brewing Co Amber Ale.....

The Label is eye catching, almost a little too busy but holds all the information.... kind of reminds me of a larger American craft brewery style... very professional.

From the onset we have a nice head, lasted a good 5-7 minutes before dying off.... the colour is a nice Dark Brown....

A VERY nice Malty aroma with a light Hoppyness...

BANG... the flavour, nice and syrupy, Maltyness.... do I taste a very very mild honeyness??..... very very mild biterness left on the tongue.

I'm having a good run with Amber Ales..... definitely a must buy again.... excellent!!
